The Halifax Independent Filmmakers Festival (HIFF) has been a presentation venue for independent filmmakers and media artists for thirteen years. HIFF has long been a favourite for film buffs to see the most innovative films coming out of the Atlantic region. Programming often features experimental film as well as films made using traditional celluloid techniques.

Poster Design

For the poster design, I used the existing wordmark for Halifax Independent Fillmakers Festival and created a projector out of it with the roman numerals XIII for the festival's 13th year. I used futura as the typeface because of the creative context.
